About

I came to a point when I realized that my life was nothing like I had once envisioned it would be. I was holding a shattered identity and broken pieces of dreams, desires, purpose, and passions. There was no gluing these pieces back together to be what once was. Instead, I discovered that it was time to embrace being Re.defined.

Re.defined is a place for anyone that feels like their life isn’t what they imagined or wanted it to be. It is for people who might feel like a piece of them is broken and for people who feel like they are broken. Chipped or shattered, there is hope for wholeness.

I believe that every person can face a moment when they realize that their life needs to change, by choice or by force, and Re.defined is about doing it well.

A Re.defined life isn’t just about using the pieces in your hand to create a new picture; it is about choosing the right pieces, cleaning them up, adding some new ones, and seeing a whole & healthy life begin to unfold.

God’s promises and plans for you did not disappear when you entered your abusive relationship, began your struggle with sin, fell into addiction, had a part of you stolen by trauma, or were dealt a hand by this world that you simply do not deserve. My Story will always revolve around abuse, but Growth posts are intended for all situations.

There is a beautiful Re.defined life ahead of you.

I kept begging God for my old life back, the life that I thought would become everything I had imagined until I realized that He is in the business of Re.

In Him, I am:

Re.deemed
Re.newed
Re.stored
Re.fined
Re.freshed
Re.surrected
Re.conciled

When we accept Christ as our Savior, we become a new creation, but what happens when life’s hurt leaves us feeling dead?

He Re.defines our pain for purpose.

Each day, I work to let go of what I thought my life would be and let it be Re.defined by all that Christ has done for me.

He is good and has good for you. Jesus has protected me every step of the way and showed more grace than I ever thought I deserved. He has loved me well. And I know He will love you well too.
