Like I mentioned in the last post, thanking God for who He is always changes my position – what I’m feeling, how my heart is responding, where my thought trail is going, or my perspective. Here are some of my favorite statements that direct me to His character and how who He is is a gift to me.
Thank You God for being good.
Thank You God for being good to me.
Thank You God that you do not change.
Thank You God for being a creative Creator.
Thank You God that You made me in Your image.
Thank You God for being an anchor and foundation.
Thank You God for being my strength when I am weak.
Thank You God for being my Savior.
Thank You God that I was worth the life of Your Son.
Thank You God that I am forgiven and do not need to hold onto guilt.
Thank You God that I do not have to live in shame because You remove it.
Thank You God that You call me worthy.
Thank You God that I do not need to earn Your love.
Thank You God that You renew my mind and purify my thoughts.
Thank You God that You pull me up and place me above my enemies.
Thank You God that You call me child and deserving of Your kingdom.
Thank You God that You qualify me by giving me everything I need to complete the task that You’ve called me to.
